Admission Timeline for Southview Christian School

Thank you for your interest in Southview Christian School (SCS). Congratulations on making the first step in your commitment to a Christ Centered Academic journey for your child/children. You are welcome to make an appointment to visit our school during non-school hours in the work week. We are available to meet with prospective students and their parents between the hours of 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Thursday, appointment only. Teachers are not available to meet with walk-in prospective parents during the hours when students are in our school building for safety reasons.

Here is a breakdown of what you can expect once we have received your application:

Step 1.

Once we have received your completed application, you can expect to receive a decision letter in two weeks from the submission date. If the application is incomplete, you can expect to hear from us at the end of the two week timeline with a request for more information.

Step 2.

A formal decision will be emailed to you, followed by an admission packet that will be sent via US Postal Mail.

Step 3.

Following an admission letter, a packet of admission documents will be mailed to you for completion by a given date, including our application agreement, financial forms, a request for immunization forms, request for a copy of birth certificate, and other pertinent forms.

Step 4.

Parents and Guardians can expect continued communication as we prepare for your Southview Christian School journey. An invitation to one of our orientation dates will also be emailed to you with a request to respond in a timely manner.

Tuition Information

REGISTRATION FEE

Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE

$275/student or a maximum of $550/family

TUITION

Non-constituent Tuition $490/Month or $4900/Year

Constituent Tuition $400/Month or $4000/Year

THE FOLLOWING DISCOUNTS ARE AVAILABLE

6% when the year's tuition is paid in full at registration

3% when tuition is paid in two equal payments in August and on January 15

$25 per month for each additional child enrolled from the same family

I will provide a copy of the Birth Certificate for each new student. Records from previous school attended need to be submitted to SCS before student can officially start school. I acknowledge it. I do not have it.

What to expect next?

The SCS representative will contact you soon. There will be additional permission slips need to signed. Once you register your child(ren) with providing the information above, then the representative will walk you though other permission slips and documents.

Parents must provide these documents.

Copy of Student's Birth Certificate (New student only) Immunization Form (current) - All students, one for each student. The State of MN is ENFORCING Immunization record compliance.

Attention

Please return the completed enrollment forms as soon as possible to reserve a place in the 2025-2026 school year. If you complete this application packet by May 31st, 2025 you will receive a $25 discount off your registration fee per student. Thank you for assisting our work in this way.
